When she came in, she nodded at him slightly, and then went to re-retrieve the books that she had found the previous day.
Seph stayed the entire day, working mostly but also occasionally sleeping. One good thing about The Libra was that it was for the most part self-sufficient.
This time, when the lights flickered, he saw the ungu girl leave long before he even considered breaking out the jar; they exchanged glances, and she waved slightly before moving on. Back to dorms or something, he guessed. He couldn't think of any other type of person that would want to research whatever it was she said she'd wanted to research.
She visited with fair regularity and he came to recognize her and eventually exchange some most substantial pleasantries upon meeting.
"What are you working on now?" he asked once, and she sighed.
"Chiroptics and transunus communication," she said, and he gave her a respectful nod.
"Sounds interesting."
She grimaced. "It isn't. I always end up with the poor topics."
"Why?"
"I'm cursed with lateness," she said. "Well, I think, anyway. I haven't been officially diagnosed."
"I see." Seph nodded again, slowly, and they nodded at each other. He rubbed his neck and she eyed him, shifting her weight from hoof to hoof, making the ground creak before opening her mouth to speak.
